Sent the worst email out today: Dear Volunteers,

I don't even know where to begin with this email. We have just learned that the owner of the property plans to sell the land to someone else. While it is possible that it could be years before the land becomes unavailable to us, until we know for sure, we believe it’s in all of our best interests to pause our efforts.

While we explore any and all options, we cannot thank those of you enough who have spent countless hours in the sun helping to realize the vision that we still continue to hope will be the Limelight Community Garden.

Needless to say, we are devastated by this news. Sharing with you, our dedicated volunteers, has been our number one concern. We will keep you updated and hope to have better news to share in September.
